Warrington & Vale Royal College is seeking to appoint a Work Placement Officer to support our Work Placement Executives and organise work experience for learners across the curriculum areas. This includes sourcing work placement opportunities, assessing the suitability, health and safety and safeguarding of the placements, in line with college policy and procedures.
Suitable candidates should have 5 GCSEs, A* to C, including Maths and English, and an NVQ Level 3 in Administration or equivalent. Ideally candidates should possess a relevant Health and Safety qualification.
Applicants should have proven experience of working in a work placement, employer engagement or similar role, and an understanding of work placement study programme requirements and emerging work placement government priorities.
This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
