Warrington & Vale Royal College Brickwork apprentice nominated for national industry award

Connor Evans, former Brickwork apprentice at Warrington & Vale Royal College, has been nominated for The Association of Brickwork Contractors (ABC) ‚ÄòOutstanding Bricklayer Apprentice of the Year‚Äô award. Connor has been nominated by his employer PLF Limited, one of the leading brickwork contractors in the North West, for his outstanding performance and attitude. Connor completed both his Level 2 and Level 3 Brickwork apprenticeship at Warrington & Vale Royal College, and was immediately recognised as an extremely dedicated and talented student. Andrew Atkin, the college‚ Director of Apprenticeships, said, Connor stood out from day one of his studies. His attitude in all sessions was exemplary and his thirst for knowledge was clearly seen by all. Connor was the apprentice of the year for all three years whilst at the college and was an absolute pleasure to teach, his attitude is exactly what the industry needs. The ABC awards recognise excellence in brickwork and celebrate the emerging talent in the UK‚ brickwork sector. The awards ceremony will be taking place on Friday 3rd of September at The Royal Horseguards Hotel in central London. Connor is delighted to have been nominated for such a prestigious award, saying, I‚Äôm really happy to be nominated for the award and I‚Äôm looking forward to seeing what happens.
