Meet our students

Megan Clarke

Following her time at Cardinal Newman Catholic High School, Megan Clarke was keen to find a performing arts course that bridged the gap between a qualification and a career. As soon as she started on the Level 3 Acting & Musical Theatre course, she knew she was at the right college, where students are treated as industry professionals.

“This course has helped me in every way and I have had experiences I never dreamed a college could provide, from bespoke audition workshops with Liverpool Empire to movement masterclasses with Disney! I feel like I am leaving college as a triple-threat, with acting, singing and dancing under my belt.”

Evie Mai Briggs

Former Bridgewater High School pupil Evie-Mae has always had a talent for dance, realising quickly that the only career for her would be one where she could dance every day! She saw Warrington & Vale Royal College as a natural next step for her, having heard about its excellent reputation for dance and performing arts.

“This course is so varied and enjoyable! I am learning so many new skills and everything that I need to work in the entertainment industry. My tutors are amazing and so talented, too. I am getting trained by the best to be the best. It’s great!”

“I love teaching at the college that taught me. It feels like a full-circle moment! The best part of my job is seeing pupils who stood where I did just a few years ago and seeing them become beautiful performers and true industry professionals in the making.”
