Warrington & Vale Royal College is seeking to appoint a highly personable and resilient individual who will form part of our School Engagement Team. You will work closely with schools in Warrington, Northwich, Winsford and the surrounding areas, account managing, delivering presentations and workshops and interviewing young people in schools. You will seek new opportunities to promote the college, maximise school leaver applications and support the wider marketing team with marketing duties.
Strong account management, customer service, presentation and organisational skills are essential. Applicants must have 5 GCSEs Grade A* to C, including maths and English, and a good knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint. A current, clean driving licence and car ownership is essential, as visits to schools across a large geographical reach are a key part of the role.
Travel expenses will be paid for any additional mileage to normal journey to work and time back will be given for any additional hours worked.
This is a full-time, term time only role, which requires evening work. However, consideration will also be given to less experienced candidates who would like to develop a career in this area, and would be willing to undertake a full time, year-round apprenticeship. Salary would be adjusted accordingly.
This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
Please note that it is college policy that referees of short-listed candidates will automatically be approached prior to interview. One reference should be from your current or most recent employer.
The college operates on 3 campuses – Warrington, Hartford and Winsford.
