Warrington & Vale Royal College is seeking to appoint a 0.5, term time only, Progress Coach (Access to HE and Adults) to support curriculum teams in providing effective welfare support, pastoral care and guidance to learners.

Monitoring students at risk of leaving their programme is a key part of this role, as this will ensure effective intervention strategies and pastoral support is in place to keep students actively on programme.

You must possess a teaching qualification and be educated to A level standard with 5 GCSEs, grade A* to C, or equivalent, including Maths and English.

Suitable candidates must have experience of working with students and preferably adult learners. Suitable candidates should have a clear understanding of the importance of student welfare and guidance. This will enable you to provide advice and guidance to staff on welfare issues and pastoral support, along with a range of welfare issues including financial support, housing, benefits, health and personal matters to students.

This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
