Padgate schoolgirl named winner of Warrington Collegiate competition

CHRISTMAS shopping has been made a little easier for one Warrington schoolgirl after she was named winner of a Warrington Collegiate competition.

Kym Flanagan was one of more than 50 high school pupils who filled in the Collegiate’s Short Course Survey.

The Year 10 pupil at Cardinal Newman Catholic High School was selected at random to receive the £50 high street voucher.

Kym, from Padgate, was presented with her prize at the Winwick Road campus on Thursday afternoon.

She plans to attend Warrington Collegiate – following in the footsteps of her mum Jane – once she finishes school and hopes to study hair and beauty.

She said: “I’m definitely coming here.”
