When Hospitality & Catering students hang up their chef whites and aprons for the festive break, they will have served a staggering 1,200 Christmas dinners over a three-week period.
Whether it was potato and leek soup, salmon or pork starters, lasagne, haddock, lamb or turkey with all the trimmings, Christmas pudding or cheesecake, every meal was made from scratch and served by Warrington Collegiate’s talented students.

Andy MacLeod, Curriculum Leader for Hospitality & Catering, said: “The students have performed fabulously well. For a lot of them, it was their first experience of a busy service and they coped tremendously well. It will stand them in good stead for the upcoming new year and moving forward into employment.”
