Andy MacLeod
Curriculum Manager 

Andy has a wealth of experience working in Michelin star and AA rosette restaurants. He has also worked in world famous restaurants such as Noma in Copenhagen and The Dorchester in London. During his time in the hospitality and catering industry he has won numerous culinary awards including the city and guild medal for outstanding teaching and learning.



Scott Surtees

Course Leader

Scott started his career with a prestigious scholarship from Relais and Chateaux and moved into full time education 4 years ago after he decided to use his lifelong passion to help create the next generation of chefs. He was worked at 3 Michelin starred restaurants including the Alderley Edge Hotel.

Paul Ratcliffe
Course Leader

Paul began his culinary career at a young age working in local hotels & restaurants in Warrington. He has worked at one of South Wales most popular restaurants, Giovanni’s on the Hayes, Cardiff.  By his mid-20’s Paul moved back home to Warrington, where he began his own catering business encompassing cookery demonstrations, private dining & a small coffee shop. Paul now follows his passion for food by teaching others at the college.

Jayne King
Course Leader in Food & Beverage

She has worked for contract caterers, moving around the country providing catering services for businesses from Rolls Royce to Anglia television. After 6 years working in the industry, Jayne focused on training new employers. This took her to schools, local council offices, development kitchens and colleges where she has been training and educating 16- 19 years olds since, passing on her knowledge and skills.
