Warrington & Vale Royal College is seeking to appoint an hourly paid Health and Social Care assessor to manage, review, and assess a caseload of learners who are based in the workplace and are currently undertaking placement, ensuring that they meet the assessment standards needed to achieve full framework in a timely manner in order to meet the college income.

We anticipate that we will need the successful applicant to work 2 days per week until August 2020, and then 1 day per week until December 2020.

Applicants must have GCSEs in Maths and English, grade A* to C or equivalent, and hold or be working towards a recognised assessor qualification, and must have one of the following:

  • Health/nursing qualification and a teaching/professional training qualification.
  • Healthcare qualification Level 3 or above plus two years post-qualifying experience.
  • Nursing or health visiting qualification.
  • Social work qualification with experience in health/healthcare
