This apprenticeship contains options for HR specialisms and for people management responsibilities. Successful completion of this standard enables the apprentice to achieve the prestigious CIPD qualification and to apply to become an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
As a HR support apprentice your work is likely to include handling day to day queries and providing HR advice; working on a range of HR processes, from recruitment through to retirement; using HR systems to keep records; providing relevant HR information to the organisation and working with your employer on HR changes.

On programme assessment will include completion of the CIPD programme at level 5.Assessment for this qualification is done by written and practical assignment tasks and comprises of one assignment per module. Once deemed competent in all required Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours listed above, and on completion of the minimum course duration learners will be put through to the gateway for End-Point Assessment (EPA). On completion of on programme learning and once the learner is deemed competent the will go through the gateway for End Point Assessment (EPA). EPA for the HR Consultant/Partner Apprenticeship consists of: A Consultative Project which contains a range of evidence demonstrating that the apprentice has met the requirements of specific Knowledge, Skills outlined in the standard. A Professional Discussion that will explore the specific Skills and Behaviours set out in the standard.
Learners could be in a generalist role, where they provide support across a range of HR areas - likely to be the Core HR option; or a specialist role, where they focus on and have in depth expertise in a specific area of HR - likely to be Resourcing, Total Reward, Organisation Development, or HR Operations. Whichever of these is chosen, they will have a good grounding across the whole range of HR disciplines as this is contained in both of the qualification options included in this standard. Learners will be influencing managers to change their thinking as well as bringing best practice into the organisation. They are also likely to lead the people related elements of business or HR projects. In a larger organisation they may be one of a team supporting the business and they may also have responsibility for managing people.
You will be allocated a designated apprentice coach to guide you through your apprenticeship. We also have a team of staff dedicated to providing learning support if it is required and a welfare team that are on hand to offer guidance, support and help when needed.
