School Leavers – How can I apply?

We have simplified our application process to six easy steps:

1. Visit us

We strongly advise you to come along to one of our open evenings at both Warrington & Winsford campuses from 5:30 PM – 8.00 PM:

October 2019 – Thursday 10th
November 2019 – Wednesday 13th
December 2019 – Thursday 5th
March 2020 – Wednesday 25th

2. Apply

Apply online
To apply online, search for the course you are interested in on our school leaver course search. If you find something you like, simply click on the ‘apply for this course’ button. You can then easily create an account online and apply for the course you are interested in.

To print out an application form instead, please click here.

After completing the application form, you can hand it in to Learner Services at our Warrington or Winsford campuses.

Alternatively, you can telephone Learner Services on 01925 494494 and request a printed version of our application forms. Once you receive it, please complete and send back to Learner Services.

3. Interview

You will be invited to attend an interview with the course tutor, or we can interview you in school, if you prefer. The course will be explained to you and we will discuss your predicted GCSE grades.

4. Offer

You will be told if you have received a place to study with us.

5. Sample Sessions & Welcome Days

We will let you know about sample sessions and student welcome days so you can try out the course.

Don’t worry if you change your mind and would like to study another course. We want you to do what is best for you!

6. Enrol on GCSE Results Day

You will enrol on to your course on GCSE results day. You will need to bring your results and photographic proof of ID (driving licence, passport or birth certificate).

If you haven’t got your grades, don’t panic! Please come in and speak to our tutors who will be able to advise you.

You will receive your ID badge and all the information you need for your first day.
