This course is suitable for those who are or aspire to become team leaders or supervisors. The award is accredited by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) and on completion of the course you be awarded with an ILM certificate in leadership & management.
You will study a range of modules such as the role and responsibilities of a leader, methods to improve personal performance, effective leadership techniques and styles, and how to improve performance. You will learn how to develop yourself as a leader, and how to effectively lead a team.
The course is offered on a blended learning basis to make it more accessible for those with busy lifestyles. Three sessions will be delivered at the College and you can study the rest of the course at a time and place to suit you. The first date that you are required to attend college will be on Friday 19 July.
You will be assessed through a variety of methods such as assignments, reflective reviews, management reports or presentations.
Successful completion of this course allows progression onto ILM Level 3 in Leadership and Management.
