Warrington & Vale Royal College is seeking to appoint a part time Chef Lecturer.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a fully-qualified or part-qualified Lecturer to deliver L1 – L3 professional cookery and patisserie programmes within our Hospitality and Catering Department. The successful applicant must have experience of working to the highest culinary standards within professional commercial kitchens, a good understanding of both classical and modern techniques and have teaching experience.

We are looking for enthusiastic and creative people who have the ability to motivate learners and work as part of a high performing team. Applicants must be able to demonstrate an understanding of the needs of our students and corporate clients, and ideally show evidence of personal or mentoring success at competition level.

Ideally you will hold or be working towards a teaching qualification (QTLS preferred), and assessor and verifier awards, however applications are invited from candidates committed to gaining these qualifications.

This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check and Prohibition Checks.

Please note that it is college policy that referees of short-listed candidates will automatically be approached prior to interview. One reference should be from your current or most recent employer.

The College operates on 3 campuses – Warrington, Hartford and Winsford.
