Warrington & Vale Royal College require an assessor to be accountable and responsible for the assessment of all elements of training and working within health and social care, leading to the achievement of nationally recognised qualifications.

You will be responsible for the management of assessments for candidates, from assessment planning to marking and recording assessment decisions, along with the tracking of skills, behaviours and knowledge, as required by the awarding body (Pearson).

Applicants must hold or be working towards a recognised assessor qualification, and must have one of the following:

  • Health/nursing qualification and a teaching/professional training qualification.
  • Healthcare qualification Level 3 or above plus two years post-qualifying experience.
  • Nursing or health visiting qualification.
  • Social work qualification with experience in health/healthcare

This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
