Warrington & Vale Royal College require an Apprentice Coach in Engineering to be accountable and responsible for the efficient and effective delivery and assessment of all elements of training, leading to the achievement of nationally recognised qualifications, with a focus on apprenticeship provision.
You will be responsible for the management of assessments for candidates, from assessment planning to marking and recording assessment decisions, along with the tracking of Skills, behaviours and knowledge as required by the awarding body.
Applicants will have level 3 or above qualifications, ideally have an assessor award and a teaching qualification, and in-depth knowledge of relevant apprenticeship frameworks as well as relevant industrial experience. Holding either an IQA or V1 qualification would be preferable.
Applicants will be occupationally competent to assess candidates up to level 3 standard in Engineering, and have the level 3 qualifications that the Engineering industry recognises as having achieved the competence required to carry out the role.
We will also consider applications from candidates who are industry qualified and with the relevant industrial experience, who would like to have the opportunity to receive the training to progress to a qualified and experienced Engineering apprentice coach.
This post is subject to an enhanced DBS.
Please note that it is college policy that referees of short-listed candidates will automatically be approached prior to interview. One reference should be from your current or most recent employer.
